CHAMBER MUSIC IN THE CASTLE CONCERT SERIES
2445 Sleepy Hollow Dr., Glendale, CA 91206
PROGRAM: Piano quartets by Brahms and Schumann
Glendale's landmark Castle House, built in 1929, is located in Glenoaks Canyon. It enjoys a long-standing tradition of cultural and classical music activity. For many years, organ music could be heard echoing througout the canyon emanating from the castle's tower. And before that, movies were occasionally projected to overhead, low-lying clouds when weather conditions permitted. Now, with the inauguration of Chamber Music in the Castle, classical music and social interaction with neighbors and music lovers returns on the second Sunday of the month (October thru May). Please join us at 2:30 for a glass of wine before the concert. Music starts at 3:15.
VENUE INFO: The finest piano venue in the South Bay, the Trianon is known for its wonderful acoustics, and Steinway D piano. The Trianon is within walking distance from restaurants, museums, banks, hotels, and City Hall.
