Cho Hyun Park

Dr. Cho Hyun Park is a frequent recitalist and has appeared widely as a soloist, both collaborative artist and ensemble pianist.
She holds performance degrees from Seoul National University, School of Music(B.A. 1998) and The University of Texas at Austin (M.M. 2000, D.M.A. 2002).
Her principal teachers include In-Il Kim for pre-collegiate study, Ki-Won Lee, Hye-Sun Paik and Gye-Sook Suh (SNU), and Gregory Allen(UT).
During her UT period,she was awarded with renowned scholarships from UT, such as A. David Renner Endowed Presidential Scholarship, Leticia Flores Penn EndowedPresidential Scholarship and Mary Bold Scholarship. She had appeared ascollaborative artist with Professor William Lewis, Voice Faculty at UT, in The Midland Opera Theater, Texas, on September 2000. In 1999, she had appeared in Chamber Music Honor Recital at UT Jessen Hall. She also performed with the UT Symphony Orchestra and Wind Ensemble.
She has served as director of music and choir conductor at church and a pianist for Ballet Austin and Austria America Mozart Academy (AAMA). Currently, she is directing her own piano studio along with accompanying both instrumentalist and vocalist at competitions, recordings and recitals.
